Seattle Newborn Photographer | Baby T

As you may already know, I had the great privilege of photographing Thomas on the day of his birth (click HERE to see his slideshow). I was very excited to be there that day and even more excited to photograph Thomas’ newborn photos a week later.

Thomas is absolutely adorable and I just love his full head of hair :). He’s pretty small in these photos at about 6 lbs, but he was in charge the whole time and only let me pose him when he felt like it ;).

Thank you, Becca and Dave, for allowing me to photograph both his birth and his newborn photos. I hope you will enjoy all of his images! ๐Ÿ˜€

Below are some of my favorites from Thomas’ newborn gallery…

Seattle Birth Photographer | Welcome Baby Thomas!

A couple weeks ago, I had the great privilege of photographing Thomas at the hospital on the day of his birth. I was hoping to be allowed in the operating room, but I had to patiently wait outside — and I gotta tell you, that was not easy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

As soon as Thomas came out, I just couldn’t believe how wonderful he is and how truely blessed the world is to have him. Thomas is absolutely beautiful and I feel so lucky to have seen and photographed him on his very first day.

Below is a slide show of his images. I hope you will enjoy it just as I enjoyed photographing it ๐Ÿ™‚

Seattle Child Photographer | A Fun Fall Session

Last week, I met Emmett and his Mom at Lincoln Park in West Seattle for a photo session. I had never been there before, but I’m really glad that’s where his mom wanted to meet because the light there was gorgeous and Emmett seemed to have a great time running around and picking up rocks at the beach.

I’m so glad I was able to photograph this kid. Emmett is absolutely adorable with his long eye lashes, big brown eyes, and super cute smile ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for letting me photograph him, Jen. Emmett is such an amazing little boy ๐Ÿ™‚

Seattle Photographer | A Glimpse of our Family Vacation

My family and I spent a good portion of August traveling around the Broughten Islands in British Columbia, Canada. It was absolutely beautiful there and I look forward to going back someday. I just loved getting away from my busy city life to relax, photograph for pure fun, and enjoy the beauty of British Columbia.

My friend and amazing boudoir photographer Karen of Karen Cooley Photography‘s also posted about her recent travels today. Check out what she’s been up to recently, by clicking HERE. ๐Ÿ˜€

Seattle Child Photographer | The Gold Hope Project

I am so happy to announce that I have joined an amazing organization recently called the Gold Hope Project. The Gold Hope Project is a group of photographers all around the United States who have come together to spread awareness of child cancer and provide the gift of photography to families affected by it.

During the course of this year, roughly 13,500 children will be diagnosed with cancer. There are 12 types of childhood cancers which can be broken into three groups: leukemias (cancer of the blood), lymphomas (cancer of the immune system, and solid tumors (cancer in bones, organs, or tissue). There have been many advances in recent years which have increased the survival rate from 10% up to 80%, but the number of children diagnosed increases with each year.

If you would like to find out more information about the Gold Hope Project, click on the links below:

I look forward to meeting many new families through the Gold Hope Project and it will be my absolute pleasure to give them the gift of photography.
