Seattle Pet Photographer | A Sweet Treat

If you know me, you know that I love my dogs and I would do anything for them. I have two miniature pinscher littermates and they are the most ridiculous, loving, amazing, hilarious companions a girl could ever have. They have brought so much joy to our household and I feel so blessed to have them in my life.

A couple days ago, I decided to bake them a treat. A friend recommended that I bake them up some sweet potato slices, so I went online and found an easy recipe by Dog Treat Kitchen.com. Click HERE to read how to make these scrumptious sweet treats for your companions. πŸ™‚

The recipe was really easy! All I needed were some sweet potatoes, a covered baking sheet, and the use of my oven at 250 degrees for three hours.

My friend and amazing photographer Huong of Huong Photography also wrote about a sweet treat today. Go check out what she baked up in Reno, Nevada by clicking HERE. πŸ™‚

Seattle Photographer | 80’s Glamour

A few months ago I met Sonja and her family at a little restaurant in Seattle for lunch. Our conversation went something like this:

Me: “Sonja, would you model for me?”

Sonja: “Sure :)”

Me: “How do you feel about 80’s Glamour?”

Sonja: “Sounds great!”

Sonja had her hair and makeup done by the amazing Mollie of Pinup Salon in Seattle and then we headed out to a wall covered with graffiti located in downtown Seattle.Β  Even though we were in an alley way, it was an amazing experience for our 80’s glamour shoot and the September evening light was absolutely gorgeous.

Hair and Makeup by Mollie McGrath of Pinup Salon

Thank you for modeling for me, Sonja! You are absolutely stunning and I had so much fun with you! Mollie, like I always say, your work is amazing and I just love working with you! Thank you! πŸ™‚

Seattle Photographer | Little Guilty Pleasures

If there is one thing in this world that I can’t get enough of (even though I know it is not good for me at all!), it would be Haribo Golden Bears. I’m so obsessed with them that I hardly ever purchase other types of candy because I know they just won’t be the same.

I feel so guilty after I finish off a bag, but it doesn’t stop me from picking another one up when I’m at the grocery store. I can always justify the purchase by asking myself, “what’s life without a little sugar?” πŸ˜‰

My friend Christine also wrote about her favorite guilty pleasure today. Go over to her website in South Africa and see what she obsesses about by clicking HERE. πŸ˜€

What’s your guilty pleasure? I would love to hear about it! Please leave it in the comments below πŸ™‚

Oh MY Gosh me too. I love Haribou. The best one’s I ever had were ones that my friend sent to me straight from the factory in Germany. They were soooooooo fresh and yummy and she sent me two GIANT bags. They lasted about a week πŸ˜‰

Karen CooleySeptember 25, 2012 - 12:02 pm

Haribo are the ONLY gummy bears to eat. YUM!!! I should have added that to my own post on the topic! LOL

JamaSeptember 25, 2012 - 12:30 pm

Hahaha, I am obsessed w/ those bears too. I run marathons and I always, always carry them w/ me to eat during the race. My sister is in Europe right now and bringing me some back directly from the factory! πŸ™‚ Your post made me smile.

[…] Oh and I couldn’t resist throwing a photo of my most recent music acquisitions since music is my favorite guilty pleasure, after all! And it doesn’t even make you gain weight! Now go check out my friend Ally ‘s guilty pleasures over at Allyson Photography! […]

ChristineSeptember 25, 2012 - 2:51 pm

Seattle Pet Photographer | One Very Cute Puppy!

Meet Violet, an adorable 9 week old husky-shepherd mix! Violet is incredibly cute and sweet, and I had a great time photographing her as she ran around her backyard and occasionally stopped to tilt her head at my lens.

Thanks, Carl for letting me photograph her at this very special time when she is so small. I just know that Violet is going to be one amazing dog for your family πŸ™‚ and I look forward to seeing how big she gets!!
