Every day, I feel so blessed to be a photographer in Seattle, WA. From the city skyline to the lush forrest and lighthouses on Puget Sound, this is such a beautiful area to live in and it makes for some gorgeous locations for outdoor photo shoots.
I have wanted to photograph an engagement shoot at Discovery Park, down by the West Point lighthouse, for quite some time now. When Per and Dawn approached me about engagement photos, we threw some ideas around and then decided the lighthouse was a perfect match for them.
That week up until the shoot, both Dawn and I watched the weather like a hawk. We were worried it was going to pour buckets when there was an 80% chance of rain lined up for their shoot. We came prepared with umbrellas, jackets, and determation to make this shoot happen! Luckily, the rain settled down to a light drizzle for most of the afternoon.
Per and Dawn, I had such a great time with the two of you and I hope you will enjoy your images for many years to come. If you ever need a photographer in the future, it would be my absolute pleasure to photograph the two of you again.
