Seattle Pet Photographer | 2013 Walk with Friends

Last year, I teamed up with one of Seattle’s lead dog training companies, The Pawsitive Packleader, Inc, to provide photography sessions for my client’s pets. I’ve really enjoyed my partnership with The Pawsitive Packleader, especially because they make such a strong effort to support our local community. A couple weeks ago, they set up a booth to support the 4th annual Walk With Friends at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA, benefiting Team Survivor Northwest. Just under $30,000 was raised that day and there were 25 teams who showed up. Congratulations, everyone!

I was there that day photographing the event. It was a lot of fun meeting everyone, especially all of the companions who came out with their owners to walk and run the 5k. I took a lot of photos that day, but I think the photo below says it all about how supportive everyone was of this fun event. 🙂

Well, I can’t wait to be a part of more events like this, so we are already starting to put together details for our It’s Raining Dogs event in the Fall, where if you bring your dog in with a 15 lb bag of dog food, then you receive a photo session and an 5×7 print for free! All dog food that is donated will be dropped off at the local Seattle Humane Society a few days after the event.

Until then, if you’re curious about a photography session for your companion, send me a message when you get a chance at ally@allysonphotography.com. We can’t wait to start planning your amazing companion’s shoot!
